Ginisang Sitaw (Sauteed String Beans) Pinoy Style
2 tbsp cooking oil
1/4 lb tofu, strips or cut into cubes
1/4 lb shrimp, shelled
4 cloves garlic, chopped
1 medium onion, sliced
1 shrimp cubes
string beans cut into 2 inch strips
1/2 head squash, peeled and cubed
3 cups water
1 1/2 tbsp fish sauce
In a pan fried tofu then cut into strips or cubes. Set aside.
In the same pan, saute garlic and onion until transparent.
Add the shrimp. Cook for few minutes.
Add string beans and squash. Stir fry for few minutes.
Add water and simmer for 5 minutes.
Add shrimp cubes.
Cook until vegetables are tender.
Then add the tofu.
Serve with rice. Enjoy.
