When scientists study, observe and experiments, they gather information or data. While they work, scientists use many skills. Sometimes tese skills are called science process skills.
Observe. The most direct way of gaining knowledge about something in nature is to observe it. Whn you observe, you use one or more of your senses to get information about yoursurroundings. Your senses are sight, touch, taste, smell, and hearing. Your ability to observe can be extended through the use of tools, such as telescopes, themometer, and rulers.
