Most of the new age food diet is empty-calorie foods. Others give energy and strength only. It will not give you enough substance like vitamins and minerals. Sample of this foods are;
1. Concentrated Starches- like while flour, white bread, biscuits or crackers, doughnut, cakes, pastel, pies, spaghetti, macaroni and the likes.
2. Products that came from refined and bleached cane sugar – white sugar, candies, chewing gum, artificial sweeteners (saccharin) and many others.
3. Narcotic drinks and Stimulants – such as coffee, tea, alcohol, energy giving drinks (tonic drinks), colas, beer and the likes.
The foods and drinks stated above have a common character. These are;
1. After eating or drinking this kind of stuffs, from the sense of taste to stomach lining they begin to destroy our body.
2. Refined starches and and sweets results to formation of phlegm and causes constipation. They also cut down the calcium which our bone and teeth needs.
According to recent survey, constipation is the mother of all disease. The long period of taking-in theses stuffs can also results to asthma, pimples, phlegm, gastritis, indigestion, diabetes, tooth decay, hyper acidity, ulcer, early age, and many other more.
